Sunday Dinner!

I was lucky enough to have Natalie, Hannah, Ben, and Issac over for Sunday dinner yesterday. We had fettuccine Alfredo. Which, even though I was cooking, turned out to be ok. They were even willing to steal some salad from the market place for dinner! It was a lot of fun and I hope to continue this in the near future.

On Saturday Utah State help Poetry and a Beverage. Basically people sign up and then perform either poetry or music. They give out lemonade and you could add in flavors such as lime, kiwi, mango and others. I got a mango-lime lemonade. It was delicious! Everyone was talking really loud and so it made it hard to hear (which you can experience in the video below). But even with all the talking it was really fun! We will definatly be going back next chance we get, and possibly even get to hear from our very own Natalie Allen on the guitar. Not sure but we'll work on it!

Girls Night Out+Ben

The evening started with a yummy dinner at Cafe Rio! Then we went to the movie Time Travelers Wife. The movie was pretty good, but very sad! It even made me cry. This picture is after we just got back. We made some quick stops to get ready for the next event...

80's NIGHT!! There was an 80's dance in the TSC. As you walked upstairs the humidity raised about 80%. It was so gross and to top it off it smelled so bad. There isn't anything can describe the smell, just totally disgusting. But even with all the humidity and the smell we were ready to dance the night away. We made our way to the front and the second we entered we were sweating. We danced for about 20 mins. and some lameo pulled the fire alarm. We had to evacuate and we just decided to go back to Natalie and Hannah's. On our way back Natalie decided to lay down in the middle of the sidewalk and as people passed someone said, "look at that street trash". It was funny and kind of sad. But after just chillin at the LLC for a while we decided to call it a night.

All in all it was a great night! Here's to many more!

First Day of School!

So I had my first day of College on August 24Th! I went pretty good. I had three classes on Monday and I was done by 12:20. It was really nice! So far all my professors seem really cool. I am really stoked for my Human Development class. My professor is pretty funny and it will be interesting! And the good news is I am loving it more and more each day! I am making lots of new friends! Its weird growing up and being independent! Just thought you all would want to know that! Well love ya!

This is my desk after only one day of school! I can't believe how much homework you get! But its fine for now. I have lots of time so I can do it.

This is my first day of school pic! And no I didn't have it picked out for weeks, ha ha ha. It was raining in the morning so I just threw this on. I am wearing jeans and flip flops on the bottom (just in case you were wondering).

Technically this isn't the first day of school but these next two pictures are updates of my room. I finally got some decorations for my wall. I need more pictures of everyone, I don't have a lot. Please e-mail some to me or give them to me when I come home! The more the better!!

New Roommates!

Chelsie and Me. She is the one that I share my room with. She is from Brighton. She knew Sarah Spangler in elementary. She is fun and we get a long really good! Which is good since we will be living for a year together. I really am enjoying it up here! Meeting lots of new and fun people.

Stephanie and Marlee. They are from Bountiful. Super cute and fun! Can't wait to get to know them better

Cidney and Bre. They are from the Sandy area. Bre played against me in basketball. She played for Jordan High School. So funny we totally remember playing against each other. Such a small world!

I'm Here, and here is my dorm!

So I am here and a little home sick. But I know that it will get better once I start doing things. Right now I'm just kind of waiting around for connections. But I think that I will have a lot of fun up here. It will be a really good experience and I will meet tons of new people. Love you all! Hope this is a good update for you guys!

Here is the bathroom. The shower and toilet are on the other side of the door (in the dark area). There is another bathroom exactly like this one on the other side. So there are two which will be good for six girls!

Dinner with the Grandparents

Every year we go out with the grandparents for our birthdays. But recently Ben, Jeff, and I have been doing more regularly. Last night we all went to Iggy's Sports Grill as kind or a farewell as we head our different ways for college. Jeff is going to Boise and Ben is going to the Uof U. We sure do have fun all together!
