FHE Halloween Party

Our ward had a Family Home Evening Halloween Party today. We had a blast as you can tell. The party was full of fun events. To top it all off, the bishop provided some dinner for us which was delicious. Free food is always a good thing for college students.
First there was a pumpkin carving relay. This is my team (plus Marlee) and our pumpkin. We totally won!! I did the right eye and the left ear/cheek not sure what it is.
Then we got to make our own caramel apples. We had to share so Marlee and I partnered up.
There was also a cake walk. This is where there are numbers on the floor and you move around till they say stop. Then you have to do something such as a dance, then you get a treat. I never won but it was fun I guess.
This is Marlee, Katie, Kalin, and Steph. We are all chillin eating our caramel apples. It was yummy.
Cute Stephanie!
There was also Halloween pictonary, but we decided to opt out on that one. Instead we went home to meet up with the rest of the roomies and we had a chick flick movie night. Bride Wars and The Proposal. Classics!

Fall Break

Over fall break Sarah Ashely Spangler came into town. So naturally the Standard 7 had to get together. We went and picked her up from the air port. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures and no one e-mailed them to me. But then after we picked her up we went to Yogurt Stop and all put almost every candy we could on our yogurt. While sitting at Sarah's we all couldn't stop talking and laughing. On Saturday we went to Jaxson's open house then headed off to our reservation at the Mayan. A good time is always had at The Mayan. After the Mayan we headed over to Lisa's home and had some of Clair's delicious chocolate cake. We decided to celebrate Sarah's birthday (which is in December) because we wouldn't be together on it. We lit candles and ate it up! (the empty plate in the middle was for Natalie, she had to go and visit an old family friend in Ogden so she couldn't be with us on Saturday). Having the Standard together again was so much fun. We forgot how funny we all were! ha ha ha I guess our humor isn't appreciated anywhere else. But this fall break was a blast!
I didn't want my weekend to end so on Tuesday I drove back down to go Horseback Ridding with Jaxson and his Dad. I had never been and it was a lot of fun! My bum is really sore but I definitely want to go again. This was one last ride before Jaxson left to serve a mission in Mexico. It was a blast!!

The Utah Jazz Never Get Old!

Have I mentioned that I have awesome roommate? Because I do! Miss Chelsie invited me to go to a Jazz game...6th row! It was a blast. We got to watch the team up close and could not get over how tall they really were. We had a blast ha ha ha even though we did have a older guy next to us who wouldn't stop talking to Chelsie. Thanks Chelsie!!
Much Love, Julie Marie

Go Jazz!!

So thanks to my beautiful and AMAZING roommate Steph...I was able to go the the Utah Jazz Scrimage. I know that it doesn't sound like much but I had a blast. We arrived early so we walked around Gateway for a little bit. When we arrived and the ESA we found it to be packed! We were still able to get 17th row seats. It was a blast. They filmed two comericals and had a rookie dance off. It was hilarious! In case you didn't know I LOVE the Jazz. I wasn't going to be able to go and then Steph agreed to drive down with me. We chatted it up and bonded! Great times. On the way back we made ourselves horse from singing-more like yelling- to Hairspray. Thanks Steph for going with me!
Much Love, Julie

Po and a Bev?

Steph, Marlee, and me went on a search Saturday night looking for Po and a Bev. But to our dismay we just couldn't find it. We searched the TSC and all we found was an Indian party or ball or something like that. Feeling very out of place we left and headed back to Snow Hall. On the way we decided to stop and take a quick picture. Once we were back we just watched Gilmore Girls, then I got a text from Ben Taylor requesting me at The Cache Valley Fun Center. So naturally I went and there happened to be a dance party. We danced the night away for 40 minutes. Even though it was short it was a lot of fun. That was a fun Saturday night!

Homecoming '09

This year for homecoming the theme was decades. We decided that we would all go as 80's. So off to the mall we went to make sure we looked our best! And as you can see we did! There was 4 different rooms that you could dance in at the TSC (where the dance was held). The options were: Jazz, Western, Rock, 80's 90's and Now! So naturally we choose the 80's 90's and Now room. We danced for about an hour and a half or so and after deciding we were to hot and sweaty we went outside for some fresh air. Chelsie and Cid decided to head home. But Marlee, Steph and I wanted to dance some more and wait for True Aggie Night, so we did...it was fun.

Getting ready for Homecoming! It took a really long time! haha but it was so fun!

True Aggie Night. Got to love it!
Don't worry none of us became True Aggies...yet.
