Lake Powell

So this summer has been a crazy ride. I have worked a TON and had some fun. I didn't blog about our trip to Colter Bay because there are just so many pictures to choose from. So I'm skipping straight to Lake Powell.
Powell was a blast! Hot, almost too hot, and great water all week. This is a picture I took the first night Beauty ain't it? See that mountain on the other side? Steph and I kayaked all the way over there. We worried Mom so she sent Dad and Jason looking for us...opps.
Here is some of the drive down, it wasn't too bad. But we got bored so here a just some of the pics i took.
Steph sleeping.
As you can see Kim is very excited.

Between Wake-boarding, wake skating, surfing, and skiing there were just so many pictures that I just put it all into a collage. You should be able to double click it to get it bigger.
If you ask Steph to hold your camera you are guaranteed to get a picture like this.
Kobe is pretty hard core.
Megan was basically like our designated DJ. She did a good job and as you can see she takes it pretty serious.
Awww!
I've kind of made this pic a tradition. If Mom and I are on the boat we get a picture together. I've been doing that a lot so I kept with it. Plus look we match, cute huh!
Taylor, Me, and Kim chillin in the front.
Jason and Taylor. Taylor Barnwell was one of Jason's mission companions. A really cool guy.
Taylor and Jason during tube wars...Taylor won.

Megan and I during tube wars. We didn't really battle, we were on the same team. But if it would have been a contest she would have won. I was weak sauce!

HARD CORE!! ha ha ha
Kim and Stephanie during tube wars...I think Steph won.
Dad's favorite thing to do is to make the boys go out and push rocks off mountains to see how big of a splash they can get. The boys did this a couple times so I just grouped together. There are others one from those who elected to stay on the boat and watch.
Sunday morning getting ready to go into church.
These are all on the way over. After this ride it really made me grateful for cars. Driving to church with the wind blowing your hair isn't too fun. But we played so MoTab (Mormon Tabernacle Choir) and it was all good.
This was Taylor's last day so we had to drop him off before church so he could begin his 7 hour drive. Yikes!
It was Kim's last day too, since she only had a 5 hour drive she came to church with us.
Capitan Dave
Instead of swimming and doing boat stuff on Sunday we went looking for Indian ruins. It took us may failed attempts and then on accident we found them. We hiked up and they were really cool.
Here is one of their houses (reconstructed of course)

It was a pretty high hike as you can see the boats below behind Steph and Me. It was really hot too!
We decided that this was a place of worship. It was cooler down there and felt really good!
All in all it was a great week! Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us and making it a great time. I hope that we were helpful and allowed you guys to have as much fun as we did!

P.S. My camera broke Monday morning of this trip (lame I know) so I am working on getting a new one currently. So hopefully I will get that before I go up to school. But if I don't just wanted you to know why it might be a while before I blog again.

Well, Peace!
